Baoji will build a 750 kV substation

Recently, Northwest Power Grid Corporation and Fengxiang County government officially signed the northwest 750 kV Baoji substation and ± 500 kV converter station project. The implementation of this project will further accelerate the construction of baoji power grid, not only promote the local economic development, but also facilitate the larger scale delivery of northwest electric power, which is of great practical significance for realizing the optimization of northwest resources in a wider range.

It is understood that Baoji power grid is an important part of Shaanxi power grid and an important hub of power exchange between Shaanxi power grid and Gansu power grid. According to the planning target, a 750 kV substation will be built in Baoji, two 750 kV transmission lines will be built in Baoji - (Xianyang) Gan County and Baoji - (Gansu) Tianshui, and the baoji - (Sichuan) Deyang ±500 kV DC transmission project will be built, and the 330 kV and below power grid will be built at the same time, with a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan.
